And it’s just as good for those who live here. I'm Sera, founder of Something Borrowed, I moved to Wānaka 14 years ago from Cornwall and the buzz of the adventure, incredible environment and tight community this place offers never goes away.
I’ve been a wedding planner in this region for over eight years. I have all the experience, connections, relationships and insider knowledge you’ll ever need to be able to plan your wedding or elopement to perfection.

My personality and wedding planning go together like skiing and mulled wine; I am a slave to the detail but also delightfully creative and calm. I’m warm, friendly and love to make my couples feel special.
For you to feel like your day was just as you envisioned, it’s immensely important I get to know you right from the start and translate your vision into the detail.
With a wedding in our beautiful alpine environment it’s important to know what time the summer light disappears, when it’s safe to stand on snow, how to keep your hair in place under a helicopter downdraft, and all of the other things that only a local expert in planning weddings (i.e. me) will know.
