Carly and Josh were recommended to me by my very first couple, Sim and Dave! It’s heartwarming when recommendations come from previous clients, and wedding planning with Carly and Josh was just as delightful.

Josh is one of Carly’s brothers best friends and the two families have known each other for years, so whilst they may have started off as friends, neither families were surprised when these two finally made it official.

It was Carly’s dream, to have a lakeside wedding surrounded by nature, so the stunning Whare Kea lodge was the perfect venue for them. Nestled amidst nature with sweeping views of the lake, the lodge gardens provided the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. The helipad on site allowed the couple to fly off and capture some stunning photos on Coromandel Peak, making their day truly unforgettable. And finally the lodge itself offered a cozy retreat for both of their families to come together to have a private wedding dinner to celebrate.

It was such a pleasure to be a part off this day, two of the kindest and most thoughtful people, it’s no wonder that they make the perfect match!
