Sim and Dave’s first trip together as a couple was to New Zealand and despite Dave getting his first ever speeding ticket, they thought it was a pretty special place to get married! So it seems very fitting that earlier this year they hopped across the Tasman from Australia, along with their gorgeous son Eddie to pull off their dream elopement here in Wānaka.

A true adventure couple, Sim and Dave started their wedding morning with a hike up a local mountain! Later in the day they then tied the knot at a beautiful secluded lakeside location surrounded by their closest friends before heading off in a helicopter for two alpine landings. The first stop was Coromandel Peak to take in some views, drink some bubbles and eat some cake! Then the adventure continued onto Lochnagar for a paddle in some glacial water and to take in the immense waterfalls. Later in the evening they returned back to their lodge to celebrate with a private chef and cocktails.

Possibly once of the loveliest couples we’ve met, myself and the team all felt like we gained life long friends. We’re already talking them into coming back for a visit!
